Girlfriend in Tacoma

the reverse of Oz

(though possibly colder than Kansas?)

as we landed at 10:30 last night, dressed in aloha-isle garb, we heard the pilot talking about the weather: "juuuuust over the freezing point, with some snow on the ground."

Surely, we thought, he's joking.

Turns out, he wasn't.

While it's nice to be home to puppies and a quiet home and all the familiar comforts I've missed (like my bed, lumpy though it may be,) I MISS THE SUN!!
