Girlfriend in Tacoma

Jun. 5, 2008 at 7:25pm

wheee! We Wii!

(even though it took a long day of waiting...)

Kid's bowling now.  I feel happy to have a shiny new toy.  UPS took their sweet old time getting it here, as it arrived just a gnat hair before 5 pm.  Which was a bit pissifying as I had a stressful moment of trying to decide whether or not to get the kid from school, as well as a day of wondering how long to delay my shower (in dating days, I always knew the dude would call as soon as I was bathing.  I took a lot of baths when I was dating.)

At any rate, I need more, now.  I like bowling and golf, don't get me wrong, but...well... it gets a wee (heee!) bit old.

Bring on the Wii fit, or at the very least, the Wii DDR....

what else can you play? I'm thinking of getting my son one for christmas. You'll have to tell me if it's good.

www.gamespot.com/games.html?platform=103... --should be a link to some of the games (or google wii games) -- looks like there's a lot to choose from. The main reason I liked the idea of a Wii was that it's an active gaming pursuit, rather than just sitting with a controller (My back is actually a bit sore from golf, heh.) -- so the things I'm interested in are the Wii fit and things like it.

Plus the console is cute.

Do we have to have a Wii-off? (hmm, that sounds worse than it should) I'm thinking I possess the best Wiielding Skills in the Universe of Tacoma.

I'm not busy tonight.

I need me some raving rabbids, methinks. Oh, hell yeah. Dawn, Kevin-- bring it on!! I'm home tonight, all night... Mandif--you're invited, email me and I'll get the addy to you (or, I'll see you at the park) I have but one controller, and no rabbids...yet... but I have the cutest console on the planet. Shiny, white.

Go on and ooze that Wii jealousy just as I ooze my mad chalk skillz jealousy and Vespa jealousy, Stowe. We all want something, eh?

I must work at the Jazzbones show tonight, but I wii-sh you the best of luck.

If you get Raving Rabbids 1, you have to play the disco-dance game. If you get Rabbids 2, check out "Are We There Yet?"

Save "Are We There Yet?" for when The Kid is really irritating you. ;-)

I own both Raving Rabbids games and we played the first last night. Since jcbetty's Wii is new we had to unlock the first few levels. She did fabulously!

I just got #2 yesterday-- very fun, very funny, smart as hell, too. Though I'm in need of a personal tutorial on some of the games (my sandwiches are never delivered, nor are my burritos, and I can't seem to get the steps right for singin' in the rain.) ....fun, fun, fun times-- thanks for the very fun Friday night, Ens!!

So, does that mean wii have to get one, too? So we can have a wii crawl between all three of our homes? can I use more question marks?
