He broke himself today. When you ride your bike on icy streets without chaining up first, sometimes a broken collarbone is the result. Treat him kindly this week, but no big hugs for awhile, I think.

|Ouch indeed. I'm thinking Joe needs to rethink any activities involving snow other than the kind you put in a cone and pour blue syrup over. Ask him about his skiing adventure some time.|

|Say it ain't so, Joe! Please mend well.|

|We were awaiting Joe's arrival, Tivo busily recording the beginning of the Seahawks game, our Sunday, commercial-free tradition, extra coffee brewing in the kitchen.
Michelle looked out the window and said, "Joe's here." Then she said, more urgently, "Oh ****, he went down!"
Four hours later, back from the ER and the pharmacy, the game was waiting for us, and Joe watched it with excellent, brace-enforced, posture.
And the Seahawks won. No back-slaps and no hugs. But we did drive him home. I didn't. Michelle did.
Your mother is right, young man. No more snow for you.

|Yes, it does seem to work out for the best when I'm the driver in this family. :-)|

|Sorry buddy :(
Dude, I can't believe you biked the roads! I got a ride to work this morning, cause I remember trying to bike when the streets were icy last year. One gust of wind and my bike slid sideway. Almost lost my shit right in the middle of Sprague & 6th intersection. Not a good intersection to do that in.
