My brush with stardom

(dozens of people now know my name)

Last night I had the pleasure of being interviewed by KGRG's DIY local music show.  I, along with Laura and Matt Eklund got to drive to the middle of nowhere (Green River Community College) and pimp the Urban Art Festival, happening this Sunday at Fireman's Park in Tacoma.

While I'm not sure how many people actually listen to KGRG at 11pm, or how many of those people are likely to drive to Tacoma from Auburn just for the festival, it was still a fun time and a learning experience (and I got to wear the headphones).  Grendel and The Pope were very nice hosts and continued to mention the festival even after we'd left the station.

So here's hoping it made a difference because I didn't get home and to bed until 1am and am currently chugging coffee with a Red Bull waiting in the wings.

on 6/26/2008 @ 8:33am		I think I met The Pope once... he's a friend of my cousin Jake (who used to DJ on KGRG himself). I want to say maybe he came to a This Shirt Is Pants show at Hell's Kitchen.
