An explanation, an apology, and an endorsement.

I would like to start by stating that the intention of this particular blog post is to offer an apology for some choice words I posted on The Feed in recent days concerning my feelings about the current administration and RR's treatment of republicans in political satire.

The Problem

Recently, exhausted by an onslaught of mathematics and engineering homework, I have found my behavior and social tendencies have become increasingly eccentric and erratic.  I find myself babbling on about Varignon's theorem to cashiers in crowded checkout lines, and absently sketching circuit diagrams in thin air with the tip of my finger in cloistered public elevators.Recently, all of this bizzare antisocial behavior culminated in a week full of inexplicably strange sleep depravation fueled absurdity.  It all started with my having voted for Obama- having in a weakened and sleep deprived state, been seduced by his candidacy's hypnotic mantra of change.  Since then, I have been spending long sleepless nights fervidly scrawling static equilibrium equations, circuit diagrams and countless meaningless systems of vector equations with my right hand while feverishly right-clicking the refresh button on my browser with my left, in anxious anticipation of news from the front.Sometimes at 4:00am in the morning I catch myself trying to gnaw my right hand off at the wrist while simultaneously scribbling solutions to node voltage equations- too tired to go on, but too stubborn to quit.  The next thing one knows you find youself rambling incoherently about gay rights in your posts on flaming liberal websites, rabidly decrying the Bush administration as the worst in history, and baselessly accusing RR Anderson of running a smear campaign against republicans.

The Solution

Now, since then, I've gotten some sleep and come to my senses.  I'll start off by saying that I wasn't in my right mind when I started rambling on about gay rights, and am now ready to concede that homosexuality is the single greatest threat to the moral fabric of Christian Society between now and the rapture with the exception, perhaps, of the unprecedented harvest of viable fetuses for stem cell research that will be initiated by executive order on January 20 when Obama enters the White House.  Before you know it, shady, pale faced g-men will be forcing there way into the houses of god-fearing Americans under executive order to harvest viable fetuses from the uteruses of good Christian women to expedite morally dubious stem cell research.

Furthermore, anyone who suggests the notion that the honorable George W. Bush is anything less than an American hero, and the greatest President in American History is an egg sucking dog, with no moral compass, or ability to appreciate freedom.  Thanks to the Honorable G.W. Bush we may sleep soundly at night knowing that our phone lines are tapped for our own good, and questionable foreigners are being tortured around the clock, in dark dank undisclosed locations, without hindrance of pointless delays from unnecessary due-process.

Finally, I extend my apologies for any unwarranted implication made that the venerable RR Anderson has been anything but gracious and fair to America's most noble political party, the republican party.

I shall make amends in the following manner

I offer my official endorsement of the Palin candidacy in 2012.

I will whore myself out without hesistation to the first oil company to offer me a job upon completion of my engineering degree.

I will have a life size portrait of George W. Bush's Face tattooed on my left butt cheek.

I conclude by offering my sincere apology for having ever defended the behavior of the degenerate portion of our country's electorate that put Obama in the White House. The rampant public masturbation of change-drunk progressives and the borderline pornographic Chris Mathews and Keith Olbermann broadcasts featured on MSNBC in the wake of the election have been inexcusable, and too much to bear. Fredo was right, this gloating and hedonism is completely unacceptable, and I was a fool for defending it.

Given the downward turn taken by the Republican party- this country's last bastion of moral integrity and rectitude- I encourage you all to continue voting for upstanding independent(adj.) green(adj.) libertarian(adj.) democratic(adj.) republican(noun) candidates like Robert "The Traveller" Hill in future elections, perhaps the next best hope for American freedom and decency.

The Traveller

"The Traveller"

This is my first and will be my only blog entry on the feed until 2012, when I will come out in aggressive support of that crazy bitch Sarah Palin, who I am certain is the next great hope for America after George W. Bush.

Parents, make sure your children read their bibles. And insulate them from the corrupting influences of the quackery of morally bankrupt and godless natural sciences.

FOR SALE: 1975 Texas Instruments hand-held calculator. 1-owner. Used only in Tacoma for manipulating algebraic equations 8 hours daily until I earned my FCC radio engineer license. Starting bid: $1, 150, 000. • FREELANCE ILLUSTRATOR FOR HIRE: Specializing in hand drawn electrical circuitry, radio transmitters and receivers. • Framed editions make great gifts!

Mofo@ Wish I could buy your calculator. Unfortunately, I just blew my money on a used toilet brush I found on the feedTacoma website.

by thriceallamerican on 11/11/2008 @ 9:08am
For that price the calculator better be able to manipulate algebraic properties...

I could really get behind a Sarah Palin - Liddy Dole ticket. Cabinet appointments should go to good "christians" like Anita Bryant and Jimmy Swaggert. We need to bring back John Ascroft too. and while we're at it Joe Leiberman has been a good friend to us.

maybe one of you electronic engineers could help me fix my broken heathkit oscilloscope kit. There was a crackle of obsolete components and a tiny smoke plume at my last Tacomic artshow and I havent been able to get a picture on the CRT since...

not bad sir.

Kickass. I've been declared "reclusive". Next up, "curmudgeonly"...

by Dave_L on 11/11/2008 @ 11:18pm
I want to be curmudgeonly, too, cuz I am. You know, through FT, I have learned that I posess half Mofo's traits, based on a recent accusation aimed ay Mofo. Does anyone have a decent Sharp EL-5100 to sell? Mine's all but worn out. And I never should have sold my Timex/Sinclair. Nor should I post this late a night, but in the daytime I wouldn't have remembered the significance of 2012, the year of the Palin candidacy mentioned above. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012

Yeah, honestly, I'm surprised anyone read this garbage.

when someone comments on my set of tags alone, I truly feel a sense of accomplishment (accomplishement of what, I'm not sure, but accomplishment none the less.)

Thanks for pointing that out, I had no idea.

This was a good first go, but I notice that the picture of RR that I "borrowed" isn't showing up anymore. This is evidence of one of two things:

1. my half-ass xhtml skills aren't ripe yet.
2. that fucking picture is haunted

It was weird, when I was trying to post it in my blog, it would pop up just fine, and then suddenly disappear. It was like the audacious intransigence of R.R. himself was propagating itself through the JPEG and telling me to go and fuck myself. I would try to fix it, and then it would just disappear again. Anyway, if anyone is interested in visuals of RR's rapturous gloat fest, there's plenty available here if you've been hiding under a rock since the end of the election and haven't seen them.

@mofo

Thanks for the offer, I'll look you up if I got a couple mill. burning a hole in my pocket and my T.I. gives up the ghost. A solitary line of pixels across the whole screen has recently inexplicably gone blank and is showing no signs of coming back to life.

@RR

If there is any hope whatsoever for your oscilloscope kit, that hope will likely be lost if you let me so much as touch it, I still struggle solving imaginary circuits on paper.
