Something to Celebrate: DomeTop Neighborhood Wins Big Ice Cream Block Party!
Ok, this has been a brutal week for Tacoma: Black Water closing... Wintergrass leaving... Russell still talking about moving to Seattle.
It's important that we celebrate the little victories.
And celebrating soon will be the residents of the DomeTop Neighborhood who applied themselves - and got themselves - a gigantic block party from Dreyer's Ice Cream!
Congratulations DomeToppers!

The Slow Churned Ice Cream package for 100 people arrived today, and it's safely stored in my freezer (although how safe from Marty, I don't know.) Best would have been to have it available for Safe Street Nat'l night out, or a recent block party, but that didn't happen. Does anyone want to help me set something up for DomeTop? If not, at this point, unless any one comes up with a better idea, I'll be contacting McKinley School about a back-to-school ice cream social. Please e-mail me privately.
