MC Delivery is not the name of a rap artist.

So the other morning I walkin' two and a half hours south across town to sell blood plasma and I see this building sign that says "MC Delivery." This is in Hilltop around South 14th & K-way. The place is a courier service established in 1928 and it's like FedEx or United Parcel Service---as if either company hadn't grown bigger than a four car garage with 82 years of neighborhood service. More »

Intro: UWT Retail Controversy Last September, Tacomans were disappointed when the UWT decided to go back on its promise to place retail on Pacific Avenue in the Joy Building: Tacoma's historic preservation leaders are at odds with the University of Washington Tacoma over the university's plans to reduce retail space in favor of more faculty offices as it prepares to renovate the historic Russell T.
